The Vale of Glamorgan wheelchair badminton club has been set up to enable everyone, disabled and non-disabled, to be able to come together and enjoy playing a low impact sport, for the physical and mental benefit of all. We are the first affiliated wheelchair specific badminton club in Wales. Our ethos is to be totally inclusive, it doesn’t matter who you are or your background, disabled or not, our objective is about creating a friendly community atmosphere that welcomes all people and removes social isolation and creates a social network for members and their families to widen their friendship circles and thus potentially engage with other social opportunities benefiting physical and mental health exponentially.
